Finance options
The right structure for the business.
Ownership, lease and rental structures are all arranged in-house. Each one is matched to how the business runs, how it is taxed and how its cash flow moves through the year.
Own it
Chattel mortgage
The business owns the truck from delivery, and the lender holds a mortgage over it until the final payment.
- Terms from one to seven years
- Fixed rate and repayments, with an optional balloon
- GST on the purchase claimable on the next BAS
SuitsBusinesses that want to own the truck and claim the GST up front.
Lease it
Finance lease
The lender buys the truck and leases it to the business at a fixed rental, with a residual value agreed at the start.
- Terms from one to five years
- Full purchase price funded with no deposit
- Rentals generally deductible, with GST claimed on each one
SuitsOperators who prefer fixed rentals and want cash kept in the business.
Rent it
Operating lease
A fixed monthly rental for an agreed term and distance. At the end of the term the truck is returned or upgraded.
- Terms from two to five years
- No balloon, residual or resale to manage
- Servicing, tyres and registration can be included
SuitsFleets that replace trucks on a cycle and want a known monthly cost.
Rent, then buy
Rent to buy
A rental with the option to purchase, assessed on the truck and the work behind it rather than the credit file.
- 5% holding deposit and a 12-month term
- Buy, hand back or keep renting at the end
- Approval based on capacity to pay, not the credit score
SuitsNew ABNs, businesses declined elsewhere, and operators who want the truck off the balance sheet.
Low-doc to $750,000
For established ABN holders without full financial statements.
No-deposit finance
For approved applicants, with cash or trade-in deposits also accepted.
Balloons and residuals
Sized to the term and the truck to bring the regular repayment down.
Repayments to match income
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, with seasonal structures where the work is seasonal.
Trailers, bodies and equipment
Financed with the truck under one contract, or on their own.
New and used trucks
Dealer stock, trade-ins and private sales, with any payout on a trade-in settled as part of the deal.
Refinance and sale-and-leaseback
Lower existing repayments, or release equity from trucks already owned.
Fleet facilities
One approval covering several trucks over the year, drawn down as each one arrives.
Insurance premium funding
Annual truck and fleet premiums paid by the month.
